Christmas Performances

This year Mommy got to watch both of her girls sing and dance to celebrate Christmas. On Tuesday, Chloe's first grade had a Christmas "in-formance". (Meaning in school they sang what they had been learning in music class.) I was so proud of her! Watch her groove!

On Wednesday, Cami's class sang in the KOTK Christmas program.
She did the best choreography!!!! What a proud Momma.
Too bad the mic was in the way!I told Betty I would take lots of pictures of Nico too,
but OF COURSE he was on the other side of the stage!

Thank you for letting me brag on my divas!

Violence in the School System

Just looking at the scrape on her cheek and the missing front tooth, one could only imagine what happens to our little ones when we trust them in the hands of the education system.
Here we have Chloe's jourenal entry of the drama that occured to my sweet little girl in her own words.... "In the hallway Jade hit me with her backpack. And my tooth fell out. I had to go to Nurse Molly."

Here is the illustration of the occurance....look at the fear in the children's faces! I have to say it was pretty scarey to see her all bloody and crying because the tooth that WASN'T loose got hit out by one of her closest friends who was "trying to hit me in the stomach."
Then as her mother, another educator in the same school system, was scrapping off the residue off her door, Chloe decided to help. She then proceeded to scrape her face with the scrapper.
Okay, so the incident of violence wasn't that bad or caused by anything to write the papers about....but poor little Chloe has had a tough week! Now she is on the couch groaning with a 24 hour stomach virus! I am sure she got it from school as well!
Maybe I should home school...or send her to Heather or Tonya's!

Chloe was Mitchie from Camp Rock (third year in a row beinga singer!) and Cami was "a purple princess"
This year our Sunday School class had a block party. We ate, trick or treated, sang and hung around the fire. It was a blast.
Look at this crew!

Pumpkin Time!!!!

Thanks to Darlin and Papa, we have pumkins to carve each year! It has become a tradition to open them up, pull out the yucky stuff and then let each "designer" choose what shape they want Mommy to cut to make the eyes, nose and mouth.
This year both girls got into spooning out the pumpkin seeds!
This year Chloe chose the biggest she could find
and Cami wanted a "baby" one!

Happy Halloween from the Carp girls!

It's a BOY!!!

The ultrasound went great! We were able to see many shots of baby including boy parts. Chris was so cute because he threw his arm up and yelled, "YEAH!". Chloe and Cami, on the other hand, were silent.
We are still thinking of what name he needs to be called, but have a few we like.
I am very excited to see my little boy, to see his face and to hold him!
Thank you God for this little miracle.

Happy Birthday Cami!

Happy Birthday Cami!

Today, my Cameron Elise turned 3 years old! We celebrated yesterday at Chuck e Cheese with Darlin and Papa, but today we had a princess party!

Friends came for pizza,

crafts for all games

and cake.

And other than the fear of the balloons Cami got after they started popping,

she had a great time!!!

I love you Baby!!!!

CNC 2009

I have been blessed to be a part of Terra Tucker's Confidence iN Christ girls conference since it began in 2002. It has always touched me to watch the girls learn how they are daughters of the King and that no matter what their earthly father has done/not done, their heavenly father adores them. Here is the link if you get the chance to check it out.

But this year, MY daughter of the King was there! While I was helping lead worship, I got to look down and see Chloe priasin' her heart out. ( I am 2nd to the left) Then she and her sweet friends (who are like my other daughters) came to my class to learn about worship!

I got to eat lunch with her and her friends.
And watch as she crowned herself a daughter of the king!
(Sorry for the angle!)

She loved it! But, what a joy for a Mommy to watch as your sweet baby girl praise Jesus, learn about worship, health, manners and prayer, have a fancy "girly" lunch, then call out "Abba Father" and crown herself a daughter of the most high!
Thanks Terra. Thank you for your ministry and for letting me be a part of it!
