Pics form my phone

I just learned how to get my pics from my phone!!! here are a few cute ones that needed to be shared.

My family painting my classroom...look at that smile...so fake!

Look at our apple creature project Daddy!

Only Chloe would make Hannah Montana with an apple!

Yes, this is a 2 year old who demanded to carry Daddy's bag!

Sleeping beauties!

And here is my favorite. After a very exhausting week,

What do two teachers do on a Friday night?

Panchos!!!!

and our "Mini me"s

On my way!

Well, I got through the 9 days without my husband, parent teacher conferences, and yesterday CNC went off beautifully. I guess it is time for things to slow down....wait! I leave for another country in 6 days!

Yes, on Saturday I will leave my sweet family with tears in my eyes to open my heart and arms to the children of Nicaragua. Last year was such a wonderful experience. I fell in love with the beautiful children at the orphange. Here are some pics:

I was so sad when I heard that we will not be going back to the orphange this year. I will not get to see the children that I met and fell in love with. My sweet Kari, Rosa, christopher, Juan Ramon, Claudia, and on and on. But, as our director put it, these children know Christ. Let's focus on sharing the gospel to those that need him...oh, okay.
We are going to another village to help the school children and their families. I am so blessed that my sweet friend Betty will be going as well. She is such an amazing woman. She is such an encourager and such a servant. I cannot wait to serve next to her.
But, Satan, won't let it be easy on me. I feel horrible (sinus stuff) and my sweet Chloe just threw up. Off to the doctor tomorrow for her. It is hard for me to leave her not feeling 100%, so I am praying for a quick recovery.
Okay, well, off to read the blogs I have not been able to see.

He's Home!!!!

He is home!!!! (and he brought back my camera)

Praise the Lord my mountain man has returned! After 9 days away from the women in his life, Chris returned with 13 less pounds, a slightly swollen knee and NO pictures!!!! Yes, the camera man wasn't able to take any pics with our camera, but here is some footage where he was.

Chris was asked to film Daniel lee Martin hunting in Colorado. Though he would not be able to hunt with a gun, Chris would be able to fly into the mountains, stay in a beautiful lodge, be cooked for and guided in the mountains to see God's creation, as well as, animals he has only seen in magazines for 9 days for FREE! He had a wonderful time tracking elk, riding horses up mountains to camp in tents and other manly stuff. I almost cried listening to him talk about all the things he saw and did, the things he has always dreamed of doing. I just have to thank God for giving this opportunity to my husband to do not only do what he loves, but to be given that gift for FREE. I am a city girl. Those who know me know that camping, bugs, outdoors, etc. are not for me. But, this trip was a true example to me of God giving those who serve Him the unexpected.

As for us on the homefront, my sweet parents came from Oklahoma to taxi and care for my little ones, as well as, help me keep my sanity. My dad was the taxi driver to and from preschool for Cami and home from school for Chloe while Mommy had conferences until 9:00 at night. And then my sainty mother cleaned the kitchen, washed dishes, organized drawers and did probably 400 loads of laundry. I almost didn't let her leave! thank you guys so much.

But, like I said, MY MAN IS HOME! So I am getting off this computer to love on HIM! Good night! :)

Accessorize with Undies

xsxsaza
My sweet Cami saw Chris' underwear folded neatly on the bed awaiting their place in his drawers and this thought came to her mind:

ACCESSORIZE!!!

"This would look fabulous as a scarf/hat"

"Here is The Hanes new Muslim line......"

"I must run and show all my friends!"

As I laughed and laughed at this little clown, I remembered another accessorizer in our home, just 3 years ago.....but this one got in MY underwear drawer!
"This could be the first fashion mosquito net!"
"Seriously, your neck would never get cold with 16 pairs of panties around it!"
"Mom, do these really say "hottie" on them????"

Things are never boring at the Carpenter house!!!!

First day of Preschool

Well, it is official...both of my girls are in school...preschool at KOTK for Cami. I told Chris that it was his job to make sure to take the first day picture with the backpack on....he did a great job.

He even got a picture of taking Cami's boyfriend Nicco!

(Who was not too sure about all of this)

Cami had a great day and we are so excited to know her teacher Ms. Faris!!!! the funny part was when I read a note sent to all parents saying that we cannot have peanut products due to a peanut allergy! PTL we are not alone!!!!
